My favorite fish shop! I've been to golden catch a few times and have had always had great service. The food is super rich in flavor! Food came out in great time and the owner was super friendly and interacted with his customers.
The food here is exceptional IMO. Fish and shrimp is tender, not over cooked and seasoned. This is the second time I dined in. Please get some more staff to help out. There's one guy manning the dining and cooking area. I think if that issue is fixed this place would be over the top.
Came here for lunch. You order/pay at the touch screen. I ordered the fish/shrimp/fries/coleslaw. I enjoyed it. It's not the regular fish and chips I am used to, but with the lemon and tartar sauce it was delicious. It did take 10 plus minutes or so for my order to come, there was only one person running the place and they make it after you order. I would definitely try it out if you like fish and chips!
Food: delicious portions, ample and well seasoned. We shared the hungry plate and it was perfect For 2, shrimp were plump, big and juicy and the fish had a nice batter and was nice and juicy too not dry inside and well seasoned. Service: top notch, the gentleman that was a one man show was super nice, told us about the menu and gave recommendations and you self order at a kiosk but he still was welcoming so you still had the personal touch. He also gave us a desert on the house to share! Ambiance: nice, new, nautical decor, well light and fun music playing but not too loud where our part of 4 couldn't hold a convo. They have parking but a small lot shared with 2 other establishments but plenty of parking on the street! Def a yummy place to try if hungry for some good fish and chips!
4 stars! Came on a weekday lunch and no line at all. We were greeted and welcomed. Attendant suggested some menu items. The place is so well kept and clean. The fish was moist and i love their batter! So flavorful and crispy. The best fries as well.
